Daniel Carlin, producer of Tony Nominated Slave Play, and Wednesday Derrico, Executive Director of Experimental Bitch Presents (EBP) tell their stories as young performers to professionals in the biz and answer questions about when and what to expect as the curtain rises for the return of in-person Broadway theater… oh and BTW… these two are none other than Maura and Christie’s own children.
About Daniel Carlin:
Daniel Carlin is a media and entertainment professional based in New York City. He currently works at Facebook in Content Strategy & Planning, leading content acquisitions across the platform. Previously, he managed the television distribution for the networks and studios at NBCUniversal. He has consulted for production companies, including the team behind South Park and The Book of Mormon. Daniel also independently produces, most recently the Broadway show Slave Play, where he was nominated for a 2020 Tony Award. He shares his thoughts on the art and commerce of Broadway on House Seats, a Substack newsletter. Daniel holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and an MBA from NYU Stern.

About Wednesday Derrico:
Wednesday Sue Derrico is a director, producer, manager and content creator based in Brooklyn, NY. She is the Founding Executive Director of Experimental Bitch Presents (EBP), a feminist producing company. Wednesday has toured worldwide as a director in cities including, Edinburgh, Scotland; Portland, Oregon; and Toronto, Canada. She has produced live theater at many venues in NYC, her favorites include, Anya Pearson’s Made to Dance in Burning Buildings at Joe’s Pub and Diana Oh’s, The Infinite Love Party at The Bushwick Starr. Wednesday has worked as a company manager on productions such as Sam Mendes’, The Lehman Trilogy and Nick Cave’s, The Let Go both at The Park Avenue Armory. Wednesday was a 2019-2020 Access Theater Artist-in-Residence and was awarded the Brooklyn Arts Council’s 2020 Community Arts Grant. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Vice and Harper’s Bazaar UK. BFA: NYU Tisch, Experimental Theater Wing.
