Tiffany’s Bio and YWCA Info:
Since its inception in 1929, the YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester (YWCA) has been a trailblazer in effecting social change through innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of women and girls in Westchester. Rooted in a mission to eradicate racism, empower women, and foster peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all, the YWCA is an integral part of the national YWCA movement, which has been advocating for the rights of women and people of color for over 160 years. As one of 225 affiliated associations across the United States, the YWCA serves thousands annually, operating with a dedicated staff of nearly 150 across its Activity Center and Women’s Residence locations. At the helm of the YWCA of White Plains and Central Westchester is Tiffany S.W. Hamilton, a highly respected figure in the realm of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Serving as CEO, Tiffany brings a wealth of experience, having previously held prominent positions such as the inaugural Chief Diversity Officer at Pace University and Westchester Community College. In addition to her professional roles, Tiffany is actively involved in the community, serving on the Executive Board of the Westchester Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she holds the esteemed position of First Vice President and chairs Program Planning and Development. Renowned for her ability to articulate vision, instill purpose, and foster consensus across diverse settings, Tiffany embodies a philosophy of "lead by serving, gain by giving". Above all, Tiffany treasures her roles as a devoted mother to Imani Everette and as a wife to Ron C. Hamilton, finding fulfillment in both her personal and professional spheres.
