Rita J. Tino has been an attorney for over 30 years and is the founder of the Law Office of Rita J. Tino, a Real Estate Law Firm in Rye, NY.

Rita J. Tino has been an attorney for over 30 years and is the founder of the Law Office of Rita J. Tino, a Real Estate Law Firm in Rye, NY. Rita started her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Westchester County in 1990. After several years she went onto became an assistant trial attorney at the law firm of Bivona and Cohen in Manhattan, practicing personal injury defense firm. Rita then returned to Westchester after the birth of her first child to work as a Trial Attorney for Thomas M. Bona, P.C., where she tried and won numerous cases and appeals.

In 1999, she started the Law Office of Rita J. Tino where her practice focuses on residential purchase and sales transactions, as well as landlord tenant matters. Rita has lived in the Rye/Harrison area for over 25 years and is married to Frank A. Longo, a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney in Manhattan. They have three children.

Rita has and currently dedicates much of her time and efforts to multiple community service organizations including Resurrection Church in Rye where she is a Eucharistic Minister and was a catechist for many years, The Children’s Hope Chest, The Pleasantville Cottages (a home for emotionally disadvantaged teens), the YWCA and was a member of the Domestic Violence Committee in Westchester County. She was also always active on the PTA boards of her children’s schools.

Currently, Rita is the President of the Rotary Club of Rye where their motto is “Service above Self” and is the recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award. Rita is on the board of the Harrison Library Foundation and is a member of the NY State Bar Association and a former Officer of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association.
